Quality

Process discipline, applied uniformly.

Every drawing reviewed twice, every weld inspected, every commissioning walkdown documented. Quality at INCO is the discipline of doing the same hard thing right — applied the same way on every project, in every entity, at every workface.

Quality management system

One system, on every project.

A single quality management system, applied uniformly across every entity, every project and every workface.

Design

Every package passes an independent review before it is released.

  • Two-stage independent design review on every package

Fabrication & construction

Inspection is planned into the work, to the code and to the client's specification.

  • Radiographic / NDE coverage on critical welds to code and client spec
  • Welding qualified to ASME Section IX and AWS D1.1 / D1.6
  • Coating inspection on every coated batch
  • In-house NDE, mobilised to site with portable equipment

Documentation & handover

What we hand over is verified before a client sees it.

  • Third-party inspection on all client-released documents
  • Every commissioning walkdown documented
  • Lessons-learned database closed-loop on every project
Certificates

Independently audited, site by site.

The quality system, the welding and the pressure-equipment work are each assessed by an outside body. These are the certificates in force today, with the site each one covers and the body that issued it.

The number, the holder, the expiry date and the scope of each, quoted from the certificate itself, are on Certifications.

Where the work is verified

Qualified in the shop, inspected on site.

The Sohar facility fabricates to international code under project-by-project third-party inspection — the code programmes are listed on Workshops. In-house NDE travels to site with the maintenance crews.
